Our 3-star superior hotel lies in the heart of the beautiful Lüneburg Heath Nature Park whose entrance is a mere 10-minute walk away from our front door. In addition to an unforgettable natural landscape, you can also enjoy many attractions throughout the area.
Our hotel offers 40 double rooms and 5 single rooms, all exclusively furnished. In addition to a bright, naturally lit conservatory with seating for 80, our establishment also has a flexible hall suitable for events with up to 200 guests. Our restaurant boasts a menu comprising delicious regional cuisine, or “Heidjer Küche”, as well as other meat and seafood specialties typical to northern Germany.
Enjoy your afternoon coffee or tea with one of our fresh pastries or a slice of homemade cake, for example the traditional “Buchweizentorte” (buckwheat cake). Our traditional Sunday brunch is a special highlight and followed by a delightful tea dance in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

For many years now, we have dedicated ourselves to a regionally focused culinary culture and work closely together with other gastronomes and hoteliers in the region. Enjoy dishes typical to northern Germany featuring wild game, “Heidschnucke” (heath sheep), and creative fish and soused Herring specialties direct from the famous Hamburg Fish Market. Simply put: with us, you will have a wonderful culinary experience.
Our restaurant only serves meat originating from the Lüneburg Heath; our beef, for example, is delivered directly by the “Rothe” butcher’s shop in Lüneburg and made from Holstein Friesian cattle that were raised locally by recognized professional breeders. Our selection of delights is rounded out by myriad tasty cakes and pastries – homemade, of course!
