The AKZENT Waldhotel Rügen, featuring the Mönchgut Kneipp, spa, and wellness center, is a family-run establishment situated in an ideal location on the Waldstraße above the pier and Amber Promenade at the center of the Baltic seaside resort of Göhren.
We are only a few meters away from the city center and the enticing white beaches, making our hotel the perfect starting point for all excursion destinations in and around Göhren.
You’ll feel right at home and be able to really enjoy your vacation. We have large, fully equipped and tastefully furnished rooms, top-quality bathrooms, a heated swimming pool with whirlpool, and a large wellness center that spreads across 1,200 m² and features 6 different saunas, a Roman-style steam bath, laconicum, and much more. In the AKZENT Waldhotel Rügen, you can choose from a variety of vacation apartments, suites, and rooms for your spa and wellness vacation.
The hotel is directly connected to a spa and health center that also accepts prescriptions written by your family doctor. Or relax in the 15,000 m²-large and lovingly designed park grounds.

Additional qualifications make our physiotherapists experts in their field. Our treatments are recognized by all private and public health insurance companies.
Since 2007, the Baltic seaside resort of Göhren has been an officially recognized Kneipp cure resort; in 2013, it was also named a “Premium Kneipp cure resort”. With its clean, low-allergen air and mineral-rich water, Göhren was practically predestined to be a destination for relaxing and effective wellness vacations. We are Rügen’s only certified Kneipp cure resort.
