Our family-run AKZENT Hotel Am Bach and pastry shop “Café Kehl” (since 1684) are housed in a historical half-timbered house from 1540; the café and wine bar offer excellent Franconian cuisine and the finest specialties from the pastry shop.

Nestled in the Main Valley directly on the river is the charming town of Dettelbach, home to an almost completely intact city wall, two large sally ports, and many tiny towers. The narrow alleyways and old half-timbered houses invite visitors to stroll through the Middle Ages.
A distinct landmark is the late-gothic town hall built above the brook. The parish church, with its two dissimilar towers, is visible from near and far. The pilgrimage church “Maria im Sand” rises in front of the walls of the Old Town and boasts numerous works of art dating back to the renaissance and baroque periods.
The green Mainfranken Park outside the city gates entice guests with its many leisure activities. Be enchanted by the picturesque view of the town and enjoy the Franconian hospitality, romance, and wine in Dettelbach am Main.
