A warm welcome in our 4-star AKZENT Hotel Berg's Alte Bauernschänke.
We greet you with tradition and warmth. Our domicile is there to enjoy and experience, a place of discovery and adventure, a home from home where you are certain to relax and recuperate. Our ensemble of 3 houses, some in historical semi-timbered style, upholds the traditions of Rhineland conviviality with live music, sociable evenings and wine.
But time has not stood still here: two restaurants, a hotel bar, a patio, conference rooms, a sauna area with beautician's studio, a sun terrace and a wine bar stocked with fine wines from our own vineyard are inviting places to linger.
We also have rooms with suitable bed linen specifically for guests with allergies. Our cuisine moves with the times as well, offering a selection of vegan dishes. We are happy to provide gluten and lactose-free alternatives at the breakfast buffet on request.

Our establishment has two light-flooded conferences rooms, both equipped with a flip chart and pin board, projector and screen, lectern, an overhead projector and Wi-Fi.
The 70 sq m conference room 'Weinberg' has space for 35 people in a U-shaped seating arrangement. This room has air conditioning and a separate access to the wellness area.
The second conference room, the 30-sq m 'Vinothek', has space for 10 people and comes with its own coffee bar.

Wine-growing estate
Our wine estate has 1,5 hectares acreage which is considered a boutique winery.
Our Pinot Noir and Riesling grapes are cultivated on the slopes of the world-renowned vineyard site Assmannshausen Höllenberg. It is here, where that special slate soil renders the vine its distinct character which makes the wines from Assmannshausen famous beyond the Rheingau region.
We still hand select and hand pick all our grapes in the age-old tradition, spending all our time and love in the intricate craft of wine-making. We take pride in combining tradition and innovation. Our fine wines will please any discerning wine lover!

We send wine within Germany by post (minimum order 6 bottles). Postage and packing changes: € 9, – in 20 bottle carton (within Germany). 40 bottles and more: postage is free (within Germany).
